Allow me to introduce myself and also give you an update on this group as well as two related groups. I have met a few of you over the years in the Columbus Studio Photography meetups - that is how I started getting into studio photography 7 years ago.
I recently retired from my day job, and decided to open my own studio, in large part because I miss the (now closed) R&L Digital studio these groups had used for so long. You can see more information at http://studio8cbus.com/.
Jon and I talked about options for the groups, and he asked me to assume the organizer role, which I have done. This applies to all 3 groups:

I plan to restart regular meetups, but slowly at first, e.g. once every 4-6 weeks, until I have a better sense of the demand for these events. I also need to still figure out how to make the 3 groups distinct. For now, most events will be posted in Columbus Studio Photography. I encourage you to join all three groups now, but I plan to announce meetups in all three groups so you can decide later.

Molly Beth has done specialty workshops for us before, but this one is on another level. In this workshop she will pose while enclosed in a roughly 5-6ft balloon. Folks do these "balloon walks" for fun, but I have not seen many attempts at creating artistic images with this concept.
You are sure to get some unique looks!
We will start with a set where Molly poses outside the inflated balloon. This will allow us to finalize lighting and have every camera dialed in properly. Each photographer will take a turn, we do not permit "side-shooting" - only one active camera at a time.
During the main set, Molly will be inside the balloon. In this case two photographers will work together, each shooting the same pose before Molly moves on. We do this to reduce the time Molly is enclosed, and reduce fatigue on her part.
As before, no "side-shooting" will be permitted.
Molly Beth is available for private shoots prior to the workshop. The side shoot immediately before the workshop will have slightly limited studio access to allow for setup work.
