It's time to re-think how we move data from the network to the applications

Abstract: For any AI system, communication is a critical component, and the way packets are moved between the network and applications directly impacts performance and scalability. In modern network architectures it becomes essential to rethink how data is transferred across layers. In this talk, we explore the communication interface between the network and applications and discuss more efficient approaches for packet exchange.

Speaker: Nikita is a PhD student at UCLouvain working with Professor Tom Barbette at ENSG. He is interested in high-speed networking and how SmartNICs can be used to scale applications to modern network speeds.
