Let's go back to Ringwood Botanical Garden (Not be confused with Ringwood Manor) for a 2.1 mile self guided, garden tour, followed by a 4.6 mile hike past Shepard's Lake. Join us for one or both.

UPDATE - We will meet in PARKING LOT B by 11AM and start to walk by 11:15 to the Lilac Garden (7) (see map) to begin the garden tour together. For those who might arrive late, we will be walking thru the Gardens towards Skyline Manor (13) then across the Avenue by the visitor center to the Annual Garden (1) down the lawn and around the back of the Swan Pond. We will head back up through the woods to the Wild Flower Garden (6) and explore that area before starting the hike. Those who don't intend to hike can head back to the parking lot or explore more on your own.

Afterwards, we will grab lunch if interested.

Total length = 6.75 miles
Total Elevation Gain = 676 ft.
Pace= 2 to 2 3 mph
Difficulty = Garden walk Easy, Hike moderately challenging

Bring water, bug spray, sunscreen. Hiking boots required, poles optional.

Columbia Trailhead Parking, Highbridge, NJ. RT 78W to exit 17 for Rt. 31N. Right on Main St (513), right on Bridge St, left on Main, left into the large paved lot – little hard to spot, there are various signs at the end of the driveway.
