A Way Forward: “Causes of Difference and Division--Us and Them"

A Way Forward is a discussion group focusing on the issues that matter to us, but without politics, negativity, and antagonism. Do you love sharing a range of ideas in a warm, supportive atmosphere? Appreciate the strength, beauty, and richness of diversity? Interested in building unity with that diversity? Then this is the group for you!

This month, we'll be discussing a brief article titled “Causes of Difference and Division--Us and Them". It's about the increasing splintering of society into separate factions, "othering" people so we see them as not part of "us." It runs against the very human need for connection and the feeling of fulfillment that comes with our own acts of kindness and helpfulness." How did we arrive at this unhealthy, destructive place? And how do we change it?
