Update - Postponing Party Time & update on selling Lotus Lodge

First, we're postponing our celebration party to be on Sunday, June 8th from 4-6pm. By then we'll be in a much better place to do that!

The party is to honor and celebrate all that has happened here over the last 20+ years. As you may know, this has been a place where (until Covid) we've had countless events, including the monthly Community Network Gatherings started in 1998 and later featured on MeetUp; the big expo in 2005 with dozens booths, entertainment, food, etc. which was the 10-year anniversary of our "Spirit in the Smokies: Magazine of New Paradigm Living" publication; countless workshops, musical events, singalongs, book signings, healing sessions, and even some weddings and political gatherings, as well as being a place where people have lived affordably with in a sense of connection, community, co creation and exploration of the Aquarian era.

If you have participated in the unfolding of this place, please comment as to 1) what your involvement was and when, and 2) what you would like to see happen during this celebration, even if you can't attend. 3) Your words of remembrance and appreciation are be most appreciated! Also, if you can attend, 4) please indicate what food & or drink you might be bringing.

Regarding the sale of this multifamily property, there has been considerable interest, especially from real estate agents who told my listing agent it is "a great model." When she told me that, I had to ask what she/they meant?

She said, owning a place like this serves 3 purposes really well; it's a business that generates good income, and it provides a contribution to the greater community - the gift of affordable housing, so badly needed. Third, this being real estate, it's a solid investment. So it seems like having this place on the market is actually sparking some new thinking in the real estate world! That delights me!

I really want the new person to continue to steward this place in the spirit of community, as everyone really wants to stay living here, and they are a great group of people. Once Gary and I move out of the largest apartment downstairs, you could move in!
