Description
Windmill Canyon Trail is a very easy and pretty hike, perfect for beginners.
There is no street parking at the south end near Thousand Oaks High School. Instead, park near the north end on Via Colinas and walk north on Via Merida about 350 yards to the trailhead on the left. You’ll need to go around a fence on Via Merida to access the trail.
From the trailhead, it’s a simple out-and-back hike, turning around when you reach the high school.
