BLIND WINE TASTING & Food Pairing Evening

What’s Happening:
Gather your favorite red blend wine for a playful and palate-pleasing evening! Bring a bottle (must be a red blend wine - minimum $20 retail value) plus $5 to enter your wine into our blind tasting competition. If your wine is voted best, you'll win bragging rights and win up to $100! Prefer to sit back and sip? For $25, you can taste, dine, and cast your vote.

How the Tasting Competition will work
The first 12 confirmed attendees indicating they will be bringing a bottle for the blind tasting competition will be entered. NOTE: we currently have 12 entries for the blind tasting. Feel free to comment that you want to bring a bottle to be added to the wait list... in case someone on the entry list is unable to attend.

This time the category is “red blends” from any region. As noted above, the retail value of the wine must be at least $20. Each bottle will be placed in a paper bag and randomly numbered. Everyone attending the blind tasting will be given a ballet to vote for their top three wines. The ballets will be counted after everyone has completed the tasting and scored as follows: 1st place – 3 points, 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point. The total scores from the ballots will be counted and the wine receiving the highest score will win the competition and receive $100! We have participated in similar events in Portland and it can be a lot of fun! Be sure to post in the Comments if you are planning to bring a bottle.

Location:
This cozy tasting will be held at a private residence. The address will be shared with confirmed guests a few days before the event.

Please be sure to pay in advance for the event fee to hold your spot so that we can confirm a head count for food preparation, please be sure to pay Brian sooner than later. $5 for the event fee. Plan on paying an additional $20 at the door if you are just tasting. Let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to bring a bottle for the contest.
