SLOW AND STEADY workshop ticketsThreading moments of rest and renewal
This quiet, two-part workshop offers space to slow down and work with the hands in a calm and steady rhythm. It can suit a wide range of participants and works well in settings where unhurried focus and gentle conversation are welcome, such as community spaces, retreat environments, or wellbeing programmes. The session invites participants to move gradually from reflective thought into a simple tactile activity, creating a relaxed atmosphere that encourages presence and ease.Drawing inward
The workshop takes its cue from the image of a caterpillar preparing for its cocoon — gathering nourishment and then pausing to rest. This idea is gently introduced through a short guided meditation, followed by journalling on times when participants have felt safe, calm, or wrapped up in care. The theme of cocooning serves as a thread throughout the session, framing the making process as a way to settle, recharge, and store quiet energy for what lies ahead.Tracing and threading
Participants begin by sketching their caterpillar design on a printed template sheet. Once they are satisfied with their design, it is transferred onto a small wooden plank. The plank is painted white before small nails are tapped along the design’s outline. In the second session, coloured string is wound between the nails to form the shape. All materials are provided, including templates, coloured threads, and shared tools. No prior experience is needed, and the process is broken down into clear steps while leaving room for individual choices in colour and pattern.A pause made visible
Each participant completes a small string art piece that reflects their own pace and presence during the workshop. The finished work carries subtle traces of the time and care invested in its making, offering a personal reminder of moments set aside for rest and renewal. It can be kept as a quiet marker of this pause before turning outward again.2 attendees - €25.00

MUSHROOM MAGIC workshop ticketsShaping earthy forms and gilded details in coffee clay
This workshop offers a quiet, tactile way to explore ideas of change and renewal. It can suit a wide range of groups, including those in educational, wellbeing, or community settings. The session works well in calm indoor spaces where participants can take time to work slowly with their hands. While the approach is structured, it leaves space for individual interpretation, making it suitable for mixed-ability groups.Cycles Beneath the Surface
The theme of transformation is gently introduced through a guided meditation, inviting participants to imagine the hidden networks of fungi and the unseen cycles of decay and renewal that support life. Afterwards, participants spend time with simple reflective journalling prompts to connect this idea to their own inner processes. This stage allows space for quiet thought and optional sharing, setting a contemplative tone before the making begins.Shaping from the Earth
Participants mix and knead a rich dark coffee clay made from used coffee grounds, flour, salt, and water. They shape small mushrooms and press natural leaves into slabs to create textured imprints. Once dry these forms are brushed with white or metallic paint to highlight raised areas or finer details added like dots and gills. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed. Step-by-step guidance supports the process, while encouraging each person to explore their own sense of balance, rhythm, and detail in their work.Holding Quiet Change
By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a small collection of hand-formed mushrooms on sticks and a lightweight mobile made from leaf-printed pieces. These objects are personal in both shape and surface, echoing the idea of life emerging from decay. They serve as simple reminders of cycles of change, how quiet processes can give rise to growth in their own time.2 attendees - €25.00
