Surfboard Socks - Come learn and create together

We’re starting something new, a monthly meetup where we make crochet and sewn surfboard socks, carriers, and other board covers together.
You can crochet, sew, patchwork, combine techniques, or make it up as you go. I’ll be working on one shaped to my board using crochet and pieces of old wool checkered blankets, and there’ll be a sewing machine here if you’d like to use it too.
This isn’t a formal class, it’s a relaxed space to create, experiment, share ideas, and learn alongside each other.
If you’ve never crocheted before, I can help you get started with the basics. After that, we’ll all be figuring things out together.
Come to make something for yourself, make a gift, learn a new skill, or simply spend time creating with other people.
