House Party this Saturday - Last Minute invite for one Last Hoorah

Some of you may know I'm about to move house.
I was going to move without fanfare but hey, covid restriction are past, the weather forecast for the weekend actually has a sun icon to it, and well.... I suddenly have this last minute urge to host just one more party.
So .... apologies for the short notice, but if you'd like to and your calendar is free, please join me on Saturday.

As with our past House Parties, the idea is that everyone brings along what they'd like to drink plus a plate of food to share. We always end up with an eclectic feast! The barbecue is also available if you'd like to cook something.

There is a nice outside courtyard style venue that is perfect for mingling, and the lounge room makes for a great dance floor!

Starting early at 5pm let's us eat and mingle in daylight before the disco lights come on, but it's fine if you'd like to come later.

As always, I'll supply the venue and the party basics like eating utensils, drinking cups & wine glasses, a cold water fountain, ice, music, flashing disco lights and the like. There's even karaoke microphones if you dare. The music theme will be Aussie Pub Rock.

Because the party is being held at a private home, as a basic security measure the address will only be advised by sms. You will be asked to supply your mobile number on registering. Please make sure you answer this question. Only myself as the organiser will see your answer.

This house party will be great night to catch up with some friendly locals in a fun relaxed environment. Party starts at 5.00pm and there's no need to eat beforehand. With everyone bringing a plate there will be plenty of food. Look forward to seeing you, Peter

Some general points to note
1. In terms of COVID 19, if you have been diagnosed positive within 7 days of the party, are a close contact of anyone who has or are showing any symptoms please do not attend the party.
Other than this request the will be no specific Covid protocols beyond government guidelines in place on the day.
2. In terms of food, please bring a plate to share that contains about as much food as you could eat in one meal. Please have it "plated up ready to go" or be prepared to plate it up yourself when you get here. There will be tables in the Courtyard and it is up to you to ensure you either walk round offering your food to people (a great way to say "hi") or place your plate on one of these tables.
3. The address of the Party will be advised to you by SMS to your mobile phone number on the morning of the party. This is a basic security step. Please do not ask to be supplied the address by any other means.
