For our next meetup, we’ll be cooking from Jerusalem by Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi.

We’ll be meeting at Sarah and Mirko's home in the Upper Haight, San Francisco. Please bring at least one recipe’s worth of food, prepared for 6 to 8 people.

New policy: Please post your recipe in the comments before Wednesday, January 21, to keep your spot at the table. You'll be moved to "Not Going" if you don't post. You'll receive the address on Wednesday if you do post your dish.

As always, no shows and cancellations will get you removed from the group.

Please let us know if allergens (nuts, gluten) will be in your prepared dish. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. Avoiding recipes with these, or swapping in other ingredients, is welcome!

In Jerusalem, Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi explore the vibrant cuisine of their home city—with its diverse Muslim, Jewish, and Christian communities. Both men were born in Jerusalem in the same year—Tamimi on the Arab east side and Ottolenghi in the Jewish west. This stunning cookbook offers 120 recipes from their unique cross-cultural perspective, from inventive vegetable dishes to sweet, rich desserts.

With five bustling restaurants in London and many stellar cookbooks, Ottolenghi is one of the most respected chefs in the world; in Jerusalem, he and Tamimi have collaborated to produce their most personal cookbook yet.
