The session will consist of:

• 10 minutes of introductions
• 30 minutes of discussion on

- How to write a cover letter that stands out: highlighting skills and making it specific to each job.
- Introduction to "personal branding": Why it's important and how your LinkedIn profile, social media presence, and personal story all contribute to it.

• 45 minutes of activity, participants draft cover letters for sample job descriptions.
• 5 minutes of feedback and networking.

Those who want to stay and work more in the library are of course welcome to do so.
