Hey all, just wanted to let you know about a couple days that are good for tide pooling coming up. I'll probably go on Saturday, but thought I would make events both days to let people know good times to go. I set the time as being 1 hour before and after the lowest tide, but I usually end up staying longer, depending on the weather. Note that tides are unlikely to be this low at a convenient time again until November.

Can spot: anemones, hermit crabs, chiton, mussels, sea stars, nudibranchs, crabs (rare), octopi (very rare), etc.

We can meet on the beach before going to the tide pools, if you have interest but not a way to get there, post a comment. Otherwise, there's a discord for CCL's Aquatic Biology group that you can be added to for coordination as well, ping me.
