6 pm - FREE Beginner's Workshop night of great beginner's lessons! Elkton VFW

Tuesday 5/20 from 6:00- 7:30 will be our next Free Beginner's Workshop, at The Elkton VFW!

It will be immediately followed at 7:30 with our $7.00 Cover regular Beginner's Country Line Dancing. If you're a beginner or just need a refresher on a lot of dances, then the Free Beginner's Workshop at 6 pm is for you. If you have 2 left feet don't worry, as DJ Jim is very patient. It's important that if you are a beginner, please be early, as we start with the easiest steps at 6 pm, and build up from there. It'll be a great time so come and join in the fun. Starting at 7:30 we'll have our regular Beginner's Country Line Dancing with several more interesting intermediate level dances, like Gives Me Shivers, etc - but DJ Jim will of course continue to play the beginner's dances all throughout the night!

URGENT NOTE: Until further notice, from now on we must all enter the VFW via ONLY the bar entrance, and everyone who walks in must immediately sign the sign-in book by the door. Everyone, please follow this rule of the VFW. Thank you! (DO NOT ENTER the rear glass doors directly into the Dance Hall!)

Please say Thank You with an appropriate Tip every time you get food or drinks - You may not be aware, but the bartender and kitchen help are Volunteers at the VFW serving our Veterans and guests (like us) who come to the VFW - they don't get any pay whatsoever for their work, so your Tips are all they get.

• Order your food no later than 7:50 pm! The kitchen food service stops early, so you must put your order in by 7:50, so please do not complain if they tell you the kitchen is already closed. This has been a problem for the staff, so please Be Kind and cooperate.

Finally - please be patient and kind as the service can be slow especially when cooking burgers because they must be cooked all the way through! We really must be patient for our food orders to be delivered, as usually there is only one volunteer working the kitchen. If you order burgers, it takes a longer time than most other food orders, so 3-4 people who order behind you and don't order burgers will get their food before you. Let's all be mindful of being extra kind to the VFW Volunteers and help out. Thank you!!
