A small, welcoming reading group in the Sasazuka–Hatagaya–Nishihara area.
Welcome to Cozy Book Nook ササハタ — a relaxed gathering for anyone who loves coming together over books and light conversation.
I’m a new organizer (and honestly a little nervous!), so we’re starting small — just 2–3 people meeting in a cozy local café in the ササハタ area. No big groups, no pressure, and no assigned books.
What we do:
• Meet at a comfy community café in ササハタ — to support the venue, please be sure to order a drink
• Bring your own book — any language is welcome, but books in English are especially encouraged
• Start with a short, casual chat in English (English learners are very welcome — you don’t need to be fluent!)
• Then settle in for quiet reading
• If the mood strikes, we can chat more afterward — or quietly head out
Our vibe is low-key, friendly, and introvert-friendly. Most conversation is in English, but some casual Japanese might come in too.
