What we’re about
Some of my best conversations and connections have been made with craft beer in my hand. If this statement resonants with you, then this meetup is for you. We rotate visiting some of the best breweries and craft beer bars that Denver, Boulder, and surrounding areas have to offer. Come to network, make a friend, meet new connections, socialize, collaborate, and more...all while drinking great craft beer. Most events are formatted like a happy hour: late afternoon/early evening on a weeknight (Tues-Thur) and you pay for what you drink.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Gathering @ Mad Macks Brewing in Golden, COOhm Brewing Company, Golden, CO
Join us on Wednesday, September 10th at Mad Macks Brewing in Golden, CO. Located near the Applewood neighborhood, this tiny and mighty brewery is cranking out good beer while utilizing sustainable practices whenever they can.
FYI - they took over Ohm Brewing and that's what Meetup still has in their system. I can't seem to override it. So it says the location is Ohm but we are indeed going to the new brewing in that space - Mad Macks!
Reminders:
- Feel free to bring others and encourage them to join this Meetup. It'll make it easier for them to hear about upcoming events and to RSVP.
- Be respectful and welcoming to all members. The organizer reserves the right to remove any member from the group who doesn't play well with others.
- Similarly, be respectful to the organizer - only RSVP if you are truly coming and make your best effort to give as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel. This also helps anyone on the Waitlist get a chance to come. And if you're a no-show 3 times, you will be removed from the group.
- Be smart when drinking alcohol and safe getting home.
- Events are free and you pay for your own beer. Buying a beer for the organizer is encouraged!
- ALL-MEMBER Gathering @ Ratio Beerworks RiNo in Denver, CORatio Beerworks, Denver, CO
Every year I attempt the fool's errand of trying to get all of our members to come out on the same night. At the time of this post, we have 769 members. How many of you will come? It's a true test of your dedication to this group. If you can't at least try to make an earnest effort to come to our "all-member" event, why be in the group at all? Yes, I am not above a good ol' fashioned guilt trip, especially if it works!
Please note that I have extended the timeframe (4-8pm), so hopefully this helps accommodate more schedules that evening. Another important change is you can't bring guests; it's members only. The easy way around this is get your guest(s) to become a member of this Meetup!
So join us on Thursday, September 25th, starting at 4pm at Ratio Beerworks in RiNo. You have to. Otherwise, your membership will be revoked. Just kidding, but I do hope those of you who have not yet been to one of our Meetups truly make the effort to come and see what we are all about!

- Oktoberfest Gathering @ Fritz Family Brewers in Niwot, COFritz Family Brewers, Niwot, CO
Join us on Wednesday, October 8th at Fritz Family Brewers in Niwot, CO. Some of you may be celebrating Oktoberfest in September. And some of you may be saving up your liver for GABF a few short days after this gathering. But for the rest of us, I love Fritz Family and their European-style beers, and I can think of no finer place to celebrate Oktoberfest.

- Primitive Beer Pop-up @ New Image Brewing in Wheat Ridge, CONew Image Brewing - Wheat Ridge, Wheat Ridge, CO
Join us on Wednesday, October 22nd at New Image Brewing in Wheat Ridge, CO for a special pop-up event with Primitive Beer. The folks at Primitive used to have a taproom in Longmont, but they closed it to focus primarily on making exquisite beer. They now periodically host special releases and tastings at New Image's Wheat Ridge location.
I say this is the best of both worlds. Primitive specializes in spontaneous and barrel-fermented beers. In other words, think tart, sour, funky, and delicious. But for those whose palettes are not as adventurous, you have the amazing variety of New Image beers to fall back on. I may have to double-fist it that night because I love both!
