About us

Some of my best conversations and connections have been made with craft beer in my hand. If this statement resonants with you, then this meetup is for you. We rotate visiting some of the best breweries and craft beer bars that Denver, Boulder, and surrounding areas have to offer. Come to network, make a friend, meet new connections, socialize, collaborate, and more...all while drinking great craft beer. Most events are formatted like a happy hour: late afternoon/early evening on a weeknight (Tues-Thur) and you pay for what you drink.

Gathering @ Odell's Sloan's Lake Brewhouse in Denver, CO

Odells Sloans Lake Brewery, 1625 Perry St, Denver, CO, US

Join us at Odell's Sloan's Lake Brewhouse in Denver, CO on Thursday, April 23th. They check all the boxes at this location: one of the best rooftop views, exclusive small-batch experimental beers, a scratch pizza kitchen, and lots more under the roof of this colossal beer temple. Hard to say what the weather will be like in April, but this place can accommodate us either way!

    Reminders:

    1. Feel free to bring others and encourage them to join this Meetup. It'll make it easier for them to hear about upcoming events and to RSVP.
    2. Be respectful and welcoming to all members. The organizer reserves the right to remove any member from the group who doesn't play well with others!
    3. Similarly, be respectful to the organizer - only RSVP if you are truly coming and make your best effort to give as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel. This also helps anyone on the Waitlist get a chance to come.
    4. Be smart when drinking alcohol and safe getting home.
    5. Events are free and you pay for your own beer. Buying a beer for the organizer is encouraged!

Say Goodbye to Copper Kettle Brewing Co. in Denver, CO

Copper Kettle Brewing Company, 1338 S Valentia St #100, Denver, CO, US

Join us to say goodbye to Copper Kettle Brewing Co. in Denver, CO on Thursday, April 30th, starting at 5pm. They are set to close June 27th. Even before I moved to Colorado or knew too much about the brewery itself, their Snowed In stout series got on my radar all the way back in Chicago. Long-time members of the group will remember we went to Copper Kettle back in 2023. It's sad to see another staple in the Colorado beer scene fall.

    2. Be respectful and welcoming to all members. The organizer reserves the right to remove any member from the group who doesn't play well with others! This includes any predatory creeps; there are plenty of other Meetups for single folks, this is not one of them. Join us at Knotted Root Presents The Circular Lounge in Denver, CO on Thursday, May 7th. This Nederland brewery took over a 1970s dive bar on East Colfax last year. If you haven't been, it's a fun mash-up of retro and craft beer that you don't want to miss!
