What we’re about
Some of my best conversations and connections have been made with craft beer in my hand. If this statement resonants with you, then this meetup is for you. We rotate visiting some of the best breweries and craft beer bars that Denver, Boulder, and surrounding areas have to offer. Come to network, make a friend, meet new connections, socialize, collaborate, and more...all while drinking great craft beer. Most events are formatted like a happy hour: late afternoon/early evening on a weeknight (Tues-Thur) and you pay for what you drink.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Say goodbye to Burns Family Artisan Ales (plus optional visit to Monolith)Burns family , Denver , CO
A couple of members brought to my attention that Burns Family Artisan Ales plans to close its doors on May 31st. Many of us have a special place in our hearts for this quirky, often overlooked brewery. So we just have to squeeze in one more visit to say farewell. I know the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend may not work for some of you, but it's the only day that worked in my schedule before the end of the month. If you can't join us, I hope you still find time to go on your own.
Optional double-header: Burns is next door to Monolith Brewing and so it's kind of a no-brainer to hit this spot if you are also going to Burns. So I plan to go there first (think opening act) at 2:00pm, and then our headliner will be Burns at 3:00pm. Hope you will join me!
Reminders:
- Feel free to bring others and encourage them to join this Meetup. It'll make it easier for them to hear about upcoming events and to RSVP.
- Be respectful and welcoming to all members. The organizer reserves the right to remove any member from the group who doesn't play well with others.
- Similarly, be respectful to the organizer - only RSVP if you are truly coming and make your best effort to give as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel. This also helps anyone on the Waitlist get a chance to come. And if you're a no-show 3 times, you will be removed from the group.
- Be smart when drinking alcohol and safe getting home.
- Events are free and you pay for your own beer. Buying a beer for the organizer is encouraged!
- Gathering @ Fiction Brewing Co. in Denver, COFiction Brewing, Denver, CO
Join us at Fiction Brewing Company on Wednesday, June 18th (and two days before my birthday), starting at 5:00pm. We all heard the sad news they were closing, and then we heard the very cool story of their resurrection! Here is a good article about the whole saga. So I am delighted we have a 2nd chance to visit and support this charming brewery!

- Gathering @ Sanitas Brewing Co. in Lafayette, COSanitas Brewing CO, Lafayette, CO
We are making July a Sanitas Brewing Company month, hitting all three of their locations over 5 weeks. Why? Well, I have my reasons! The Lafayette location is super convenient for me, the Englewood location has amazing burgers, and the Boulder location is the OG with a great outdoor space. They actually all have good outdoor space for sipping beers in the summer. They are also spread out so folks further south don't need to travel north, and vice versa.
This means pay extra attention to dates and locations, so you don't end up in Englewood, when you are supposed to be in Boulder County!
***This event page is for the Lafayette location on Tuesday, July 1st.***
