In Italy, lamb shank is the perfect cold weather "comfort food." Three hours of braising yields a texture that practically melts in your mouth. Did you know that lamb is not a common meat in Italian cuisine? Yet it plays a significant role in regional dishes and is appreciated for its flavor and tenderness, especially in specific culinary traditions and seasonal celebrations.

Tonight's menu:
Tuscan Swiss Chard & Cannellini Bean Salad
Wine-braised Lamb shanks served over Creamy Parmesan Polenta
Herb-roasted Carrots
Rustic Loaf

Glazed Pistachio Rum Cake

$49pp Wine included (Sangiovese. A member gifted me a very nice bottle, and have since bought a couple more; it's my go to now). It's very nice, and pairs well with the richness of the lamb).
