Special Event: RCA Rivanna River Round-Up near DoubleTree & Berkmar Dr.

This is a special event hosted by the Rivanna Conservation Alliance (RCA) to do a clean up near the Rivanna River by the DoubleTree Hotel and Berkmar Dr. There is an abandoned unhoused encampment near the river edge that is at high risk of being washed into the river at the next big rain storm. SPECIAL NOTE: This event will be dirty, gross, heavy lifting, and hiking steep grades. Wear shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Be prepared to get a workout while doing great volunteer work! We'll provide the gloves and safety vests.
