New to cycling? This ride is for you. This ride is a light duty, sea level (flat) ride suitable for beginner’s or experienced riders looking for scenic and relaxing ride..
Berkeley to to Pt Richmond and back! (26 mile loop). Under 500 ft. climbing. Basically, a flat sea-level adventure with a very modest climb. At Pt. Richmond, let’s have a stop at a coffee stop. Some light car traffic with bike lanes.
Starting point is Berkeley Marina, 201 University Ave — first parking lot on the left as you enter the Marina. Look for a vehicle in the parking area with an orange traffic cone on top.
Any changes in this ride, including cancellation, due to weather or other evil doing will be posted here and on the [cycling4fun.com website](http://www.cycling4fun.com/) by 7:00am the day of the ride.
Arrive by 8:45am and be prepared to depart at 9:00am. Cue sheets/Directions will be on the vehicle windshield for late arrivals.
Ride leader is Bob Carlson. Helmets required.
