About us
## Our community
User groups having been running in the UK for over 10 years, starting with a user group for Dynamics CRM in 2011.
Since then, we have expanded in number and in scope, covering not just the traditional ‘CRM’ applications under Dynamics 365 but also the Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents.
Our user groups provide an opportunity for users of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform to get together, share their knowledge and get to know each other in a fun, open, and welcoming environment. Whatever your level of experience or how long you’ve been using the products, you’re welcome to our free meetings!
### Topics
The user group meetings cover all topics under the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform umbrella. We have talks on technical subjects such as development and solution architecture but also cover business perspectives as well, such as user adoption, managing change and business analysis.
### National user group
Our flagship all-day user groups – what we call the 'National' user groups – run several free all-day events per year. Each event offers 15+ sessions and typically attracts an audience of 150+ people. The events are held either in central London or Manchester.
### Regional user groups
Our regional user groups cover many areas of the UK. These meetings are typically held in the evening after a working day and have 2 or 3 speakers on topics related to Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.

Reading D365PPUG - June 2026
Campus Reading International, Berkshire, GBOur second in-person meeting for this year will take place on Monday 8th June from 18:00 at Campus Reading. We look forward to seeing you there and encourage you to arrive from 6pm to meet other user group members!
Agenda as follows:
- 18:00 - Welcome!
- 18:30 - AI Legislation: What You Need to Know - Areti Iles, Head of Professional Services @ Telefonica Tech
With AI legislation slowly being introduced and varying wildly from country to country, it is not easy to identify what you need to know about it when it comes to creating, using and managing Microsoft Business Applications and Power Platform solutions. Join this session to get an overview of:
• The current AI legislation, regulations and standards globally (EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC)
• What current legislation means for the development and use of Microsoft solutions
• Microsoft tools available to monitor and ensure compliance (Foundry, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender)
Being aware of the legislation requirements now will allow you to plan and have the right governance and controls in your tenant – and even beat the deadlines! - 19:15 - Break & Pizza!
- 19:45 - Building an AI Adoption Engine with Power Platform — Ban Hasan, AI & Data Innovation Consultant & Andy James, Team Lead – Power Platform @ BCN
Getting people to actually adopt AI isn't a technology problem — it's a human one. In this session, we'll show how we approached AI adoption from both sides: the behavioural science that shapes how people learn and change, and the Power Platform architecture that delivers it at scale. Join us to explore:
• How micro-learning and progressive complexity build lasting confidence — the psychology behind giving people small, consistent nudges rather than overwhelming workshops
• Why we chose adaptive cards in Teams as the delivery mechanism, and how we designed them to drive engagement
• The Power Automate engine under the hood — HTTP-triggered flows, a management app, and a pipeline that runs a 12-month programme without manual intervention
• How we measure real behaviour change across four data layers, from delivery confirmation to actual Copilot usage
You'll walk away with a practical blueprint for building sustained adoption — and some Power Automate patterns you probably haven't seen before. - 20:30 - Networking & Close
