ATTENTION: The June meetup will be our 12th anniversary. Come out and celebrate with us!

  • Cupcakes: Nutritious? No. Delicious? Yes.
  • Merch: We expect to have the merch room open. Get your swag on!
  • Hardware Swap: Sell/Trade/Giveaway your unwanted gear. Whatever you bring must be taken by another member or go back with you at the end of the night.
  • Streaming Talks (Side Rooms): We are working with the venue to FINALLY get the talks broadcast to select side rooms. Presenters may choose to restrict access to the main room only.
  • Streaming Talks (Wireless Devices): We plan on having the capability to stream the talks to local WiFi enabled devices. Presenters may choose to restrict access to the main room only.
  • Shareboxx (New Pirate Box): We are bringing back file sharing and chat for in-event use. Share your slides or upload code. At the end of the night all data will be wiped.
  • Miscellaneous: We have added additional resources for presenters:
  • A laptop with PowerPoint and a remote clicker will be available for those without a device.
  • iPhone/iPad and USB-C Android devices should now be fully supported. As always, bring what you have and we'll find a way to make it work.
  • We are also working with the venue to provide WiFi connectivity for cloud-based presentations and demos!
  • Fun: New between-speaker activities with audience participation.

DHA: We do not solicit vendors or speakers to present. This is a community driven event and you get out of it what you put into it. So what will you talk about this month?

Firetalks: No more than 10-minute presentations with up to 5-minutes of Q&A. Sign-up sheet near POS stand (stage right). Slides and display should be set for 1080p resolution. We prioritize new speakers, but otherwise it's first come, first served.

Additional Activities: This isn't just a monthly meetup, it's a mini-con!

  • Capture the Flag (CTF): Come out to learn and showcase your hacking skills.
  • Locksport: Picks and locks to learn/practice on are provided, or bring your own. Lockpick sets will also be available for purchase.
  • Career Room: Get a resume review. Get coaching on interview skills. Practice public speaking: Like Toastmasters, but for hackers.
  • Chillout Room: Board games provided, or bring your own. Organize your own MTG game or AD&D campaign.
  • Book Swap: Take what you need; donate what you can.
  • Merch Room: Support your community and get some cool swag.

If you just want to eat and drink while watching us make fools of ourselves, entry is free and Family Karaoke has a great menu.
