Aussie Persian Atheists Online

For a few years Progressive Atheists have been organising multicultural events for Melbourne Atheists including Yalda solstice celebrations and Nowruz new year celebrations especially for Persian Atheists.
They have also been organising online meetings for Atheists every week since March 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Aussie Persian Atheists Online is primarily for Farsi speaking Atheists in Australia.
It is an opportunity to catch up with the people you have met at past Atheist meetups or online and/or you can also make new friends.
If you have not been able to attend meetups before then this is your opportunity to attend.

The first part of the get together is for catching up and general conversation.
The second part of the get together is for anyone to introduce a topic followed by a discussion about it (a soapbox).

We will be using Zoom and the link becomes visible when you RSVP.
If you are still a pending member then please message the organisers.
If you are too late to RSVP then put a comment in the meetup discussion and we may be able to get the link to you.
Phone-in numbers can be organised.

Progressive Atheists will organise more online meetings for other Atheists with various purposes.
They can organise online meetings exclusively for smaller Atheist meetups.
They can also have special meetings to discuss campaigns or have meetings just for group organisers and etcetera.
Please contact them with your request.

If people have not used Zoom before then it is worthwhile to click on the link ASAP to install the program to access the meeting.
You do not have to register with Zoom to attend an online meeting.
No personal information is required other than a name that you wish to use in the meeting (and that can be changed at anytime).
