DC Gaming Group (DCGG) is a club organization created to foster connections within the DMV gaming community. Together, we can explore new games, support independent game developers, and check out local events.

DCGG welcomes gamers of all walks of life to come together and play—console players, PC gamers, tabletop enthusiasts, mobile players—we don’t judge!
Our goal is to bring folks with different gaming preferences together in the same community. Whether you like single player adventures, fighters, shooters, or sports games, we provide a community where you can share your passion with other gamers.

Are you ready to put down that book and pick up that controller? When you think of “the Classics” does Mario or Shakespeare come to mind? Do you consider Moby Dick just one long water level? Then the DC Gaming Group Game Club is for you. If you know what a book club is, you know what this is. Each month we will select a game that matches our criteria, beat it, and then come together to discuss our thoughts on the game. Even if you have already played the game, you are welcome at discussion <3
How to Participate:
1. Get the Game
This month, Game Club will discuss Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated!!2. Play at your own pace and join us in Discord for monthly discussions and feels.
3. Join us for the full discussion by RSVPing to this meetup and joining Discord (https://discord.gg/vuefymS). Look for the #GameClub channel.
4. Plan the next game!

“It may look like a normal arcade. Screens, buttons, popular titles from across the decades. But this arcade… hides a secret. It will take a team of talented gamers to crack the code and discover the ultimate prize…. Tokens!”
Secrets of the Arcade is part escape room, part game challenge, part trivia.
Based on your gaming preferences, guests will be invited to form teams of four to complete a series of gaming challenges throughout the arcade. Maybe your team will have to get past a certain level of Ninja Turtles, maybe you will have to uncover how many points a cherry is worth in Mrs. PacMan, maybe you’ll have to discover what kills the grim reaper in Gauntlet.
Challenges are designed to get your team playing together, playing differently, and exploring games you might not have tried.
DCGG will supply each team with starter tokens to help them complete the challenge. Teams can be created on site.
Agenda:
7:00pm – 7:30pm: Feast Time and Meet and Greet
7:30pm: Welcome and Game Start
DCGG hosts will pass out game cards and share instructions to teams of four.
7:45pm – 9:30pm: Secrets of the Arcade and Free PlayBUT WAIT THERES MORE:
If you are interested in becoming a Supporting Member and enjoying perks like:- Early RSVP Access: Supporting Members will get early access to RSVPing to regular events.
- Town Hall meeting: Supporting Members will be invited to participate in town halls and polls that will help determine how revenue past operating costs is directed.
