Have you ever wondered about this universal drive for order, which assembles atoms, molecules, such highly structured phenomena as DNA strands, life itself, striving for ever increasing order and complexity?

What if this force is the consciousness of the universe itself, pushing through spacetime, manifesting as an ever increasing reflection of itself?

Analytic Idealism is a philosophy that suggests exactly that. And this idea, as wild as it sounds, is in fact more aligned with modern physics than the outdated materialism of the past.

They say it takes three generations for a discovery to change the world: the first to deny it, the second to verify it, and the third to assume it was always known."

When it comes to the views and beliefs relating to our physical universe, this paradigm shift is way overdue. In the spirit of Nietzsche, it's safe to say that materialism is dead.

To paraphrase physicist Werner Karl Heisenberg, one of the founding fathers of quantum mechanics: The universe is not made up of 'things,' but of vibratory energy networks that emerge from something even deeper, more subtle.

The implications this might hold for our understanding of ourselves and our belief systems are huge. This is probably the reason why the word 'quantum' has become such an (often misused) buzzword in spiritual contexts.

In his latest book "Irreducible", Federico Faggin puts the ideas behind Analytic Idealism into context using the current and most refined models of reality physics can offer.

Praise by Bernardo Kastrup:
"Federico Faggin is probably the most well-rounded Idealist alive. He embodies the near-perfect combination of hard-nosed, scientifically informed thought with direct introspective insights into the primacy of consciousness. This book is a true philosophical treasure and, in some ways, a culmination of Western thought; an absolute must read."
