ILC Halle First Event: The Vegetarian by Han Kang

After building a wonderful intercultural book club community in Leipzig through Together We Read, we are excited to launch a new initiative in Halle.
The Intercultural Literary Collective (ILC) is a student-led initiative, especially aimed at students of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, bringing together local and international students through literature, culture, and meaningful exchange.
For our first meeting, we will discuss The Vegetarian by Han Kang and use it as a starting point for a broader conversation about identity, society, culture, and different perspectives. We will also introduce the idea behind the collective and discuss what direction members would like it to take in the future.
Students from all disciplines and backgrounds are welcome. You do not need a literature background, just curiosity and an openness to new ideas.
