The future of warfare

After watching this segment from Fareed Zakaria's CNN show), and in light of the latest dust-up between Israel and Iran, I thought this was a good time to talk about how rapidly technology is altering the landscape in terms of weapons, manpower and sophistication. It seems that the expense of fighting a war and inflicting both material and physical damage to a foe is dropping quickly, and with the advent of AI being within reach of most people, the battles of World War 2 and even the Iraq War are now relics of the past.

So forget the Sands of Iwo Jima and the Battle of the Bulge and let's chew over what we see ahead for fighting in the 21st century.
