This hike will Start an End at the Chatsworth Lake Entrance pictured in the feature photo. There is one porta pot at the start of this hike. We'll hike 6 miles on the red trail at a moderate pace (about 2 mph) stopping a few times to break and enjoy our surroundings. And one longer stop for a snack and scenic view. I encourage taking pictures. It is a winding sandy trail which goes through the woods, along and across small bodies of water, past old cranberry bogs, by a viewing platform, which we'll use and across a small suspension bridge. It's mostly flat with some small hills along the way. There may be some wet spots. I recommend good hiking boots, water and a snack. I also find a hiking stick very useful. This is a diverse trail with multiple types of plant life. Expect some beautiful and interesting views nature has to offer. We'll leave a painted rock, with an inspirational message, along the trail to mark our presence. One rest stop we'll pass was made for giants. You'll just have to come to see what I mean. I've posted some pictures to give you a feel for the trail. Hope you can make it. Paul # 609-540-2513.
