What we’re about
### About Us 🕊️
This group is meant to be a safe community for those who feels the weight of what's happening in our country and our world. It's a space to organize, to mourn, to strategize, and to find joy in the company of other like-minded and passionate individuals.
We believe connection is the foundation of hope — and that activism can coexist with creativity, friendship, and care for ourselves and one another.
Our community brings together people who want to stay informed and engaged, but also to find balance, rest, and renewal.
Our Goals 🌿
- Stay Informed & Heard – Keep members informed, make space for everyone’s feelings and opinions, and foster respectful discussion.
- Find Peace Together – Enjoy moments of doom-scrolling-free peace through activities like crafting, book clubs, walks, hikes, or simply grabbing a drink together.
- Organize for Change – Collaborate on actions such as protests, petitions, letter-writing, or phone-banking efforts.
- Learn & Share Skills – Build and share skills that can benefit both the community and ourselves — based on the interests and strengths of our members.
