Brazil, 1977. Marcelo, a technology expert in his early 40s, is on the run. Hoping to reunite with his son, he travels to Recife during Carnival but soon realizes that the city is not the safe haven he was expecting.
I will be in the lobby at 2:45 with a small Denver Cinema Club sign and head to my seat about 255 for the pre-show and the 3:15 showing. It’s a 2 hr 40 min movie so we will reconvene in the lobby a little after 6 and if the lounge is open and not noisy we will get a table for snacks and drinks there, otherwise we can walk one block to Stoney‘s. There is free parking in the nearby garage with 4-hour validation either at the garage itself or in the lobby of the Alamo. Hope to see you there!
