Synopsis:
The Masonic Philosophical Society invites you to a thought-provoking exploration of Transhumanism: Future of Humanity or Its End? This discussion will examine the promises and perils of emerging technologies—artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, cybernetic enhancement, and digital immortality—that seek to transcend biological limits and redefine what it means to be human. Is transhumanism the next step in human evolution, offering liberation from suffering and ignorance, or does it risk erasing the very essence of our humanity? Drawing upon philosophy, science, and the Masonic tradition of seeking wisdom, participants will critically engage with these questions in pursuit of light and understanding.
