Welcome to the biggest Golang Meetup just east of the Rockies, the Mile High Gophers Meetup, a 1,800-member community of technologists, designers, and innovators. Please join us for a night of networking, education, and fun!
February's meeting will feature an introduction to Coz by Zach Collier. Zach has over 10 years experience with Go and is passionate about sharing his experiences with other developers.
Coz is an open cryptographic JSON format designed for secure, human-readable, and interoperable messaging using digital signatures and hashes. It prioritizes simplicity, idiomatic JSON, canonicalization, and an abstraction layer that decouples applications from specific crypto primitives. Coz makes it easy to upgrade algorithms or switch implementations without breaking compatibility. Unlike heavier standards, Coze focuses on a minimal scope ideal for authentication, secure data exchange, IoT, or any scenario needing verifiable JSON payloads.
