Come join us for a scenic hike at Deer Creek Canyon Park along the Meadowlark Trail to Plymouth Mountain! 🏞️ This is a perfect chance to soak in stunning views, enjoy rolling hills, and connect with fellow nature lovers. 🌲👥

When: Saturday August 30, 2025, 8:15 AM - 12:00 PM (approx. 3 hours 40 minutes depending which trail we go on) ⏰⛰️
Where: Meadowlark Trailhead, Deer Creek Canyon Park, 12905 Grizzly Dr, Littleton, CO 80127 📍🗺️

Who: All hiking enthusiasts (beginner to moderate skill levels welcome!) 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
This moderately challenging 6-mile round-trip hike offers sweeping views of mountains and valleys through high pine branches, with a good bit of elevation gain to keep things interesting. 🗻🌅 Expect a mix of sunny stretches and shaded spots, making it a great morning adventure. 🌞🌳 The trail is open year-round, but we’ll check for any seasonal closures due to muddy conditions—stay tuned for updates! ☔🌧️

What to Bring:

• Sturdy hiking shoes or boots 🥾👟
• Water and a snack 💧🍎🥪
• Sunscreen and a hat (some areas are exposed) 🧴🧢😎
• Optional: trekking poles and camera for those amazing views 📸🔭
• Dogs on leash are welcome! 🐶💦

• Meet at the Meadowlark Trailhead parking lot off Grizzly Drive. Look for the group near the trail sign! 🚩🅿️
• We’ll hike at a leisurely pace, taking time to enjoy the scenery and chat along the way. 😍🌄
• The route includes some steeper sections, so a moderate fitness level is helpful, but we’ll support all participants. 🤝💪
• Check for updates on trail conditions closer to the date, as muddy spots can occur after rain. 🌧️🛑

As the weather heats up , we're gonna be at the park enjoying each others company and playing some Volleyball. (Weather pending as always)
Look for all the volleyball nets with the RED MARINE CORPS flags!!!!! (oh Rah) south of the Rec center at Wash Park by the 2 Big trees!
This is a social (non-competitive) event. Whether you've been playing your whole life or this is your first time touching a Volleyball, we'll make space for you. No spikes to the face and no yelling at newbies. This is a friendly environment where everyone is welcomed and you don't have to say you are sorry if you mess up! Just come out, have fun, and make some new friends.
Look for the red Marine Corps flag or white Army flag and you will find us! We usually have 3-5 nets set up so everyone can jump in to play. Feel free to bring your own net, other outdoorsy games, or just socialize.
We always welcome all ability levels & all age groups and never charge a fee. However, we do require the desire to play 3 Hit Volleyball Skills as explained below. The organizers of this event bring several nets to help satisfy all ability levels. However, if you bring your own net you are welcomed to dictate the level of play that you are interested in playing and you may choose your own players as you desire. We are a very friendly social group and want everybody to fit in to their ability level and have a pleasant experience. We will help new players as best we can to help them develop 3 Hit Volleyball Skills on a specific net if feasible. If you are new to this group, please introduce yourself to the organizers, and we will do our best to help you fit into this group.
Highly recommended items to bring are lawn chair, ball cap, suntan lotion, and bottled water.
Remember, this is 3 hit volleyball ( Bump, Set, Spike ) as oppose to Jungleball. We will train newcomers if they are not familiar with these skills..
Our goal is to satisfy all ability levels and get all interested players who show up involved in the action.
We also accept donations to help out on organizing events, future BBQ events with meat/utensils/etc, fuel for the grill, equipment upkeep, meetup fees, etc. We will have a donation tin for cash donations, but you can also use

**Pickeball Night🎾**

**When:** 7:00PM - 10:00 PM

**Where:* Pickleball Courts

**Who:** All Pickleball enthusiasts (beginner to intermediate, 18+ welcome!)

**Cost:** Free!
Join us for a fun evening of Pickleball under the lights.
Whether you're looking to rally, play casual doubles, or just hit around, this meetup is for you. We’ll rotate players to keep things lively and inclusive. Courts are first-come, first-served and also stacking for pickleball.

**What to Bring:**
- Pickleball racket (we may have extras to share)
- Water bottle and comfortable athletic wear
- A pickleball
- Good vibes!

**Details:**
- Meet at the courts near the gazebo and benches. Look for the group!
- We’ll play until 10:00 PM or until everyone’s ready to wrap up.
- All skill levels are welcome, but please be courteous and ready to share court time.
