Agenda

6:15 PM - JavaScript News
6:30 PM - "Phaser, It's Not Just a Phase, Mom" by Gage Smith
6:45 PM - "Why ‘1’ == 1: From JavaScript to Quantum Tunneling" by Daniel Kat
Talk Description
Phaser, It's Not Just a Phase, Mom - A brief overview of Phaser and the processes I used going from React JavaScript to just Phaser.
Why ‘1’ == 1: From JavaScript to Quantum Tunneling - The classic JS quandary, but taken maybe farther than you’ve ever considered it before. I was curious why the loose equality in JS works the way it does, and investigating this thread took me on a journey through language specs, parsers, compilers, c++, binary representations, and the physics of electrons inside computer hardware.
Speaker Bio
Gage Smith is a Tennessean who had a pet raccoon now in Colorado , but somehow still close to the Rocky's. An aspiring game developer and Hideo Kojima fan boy. And a college graduate who's really looking forward to deleting Indeed from their bookmarks.
Daniel Kat is an (building) architect-turned-software-developer, who likes coding, climbing, and cats, among other things.
