What we’re about
The Design Council is the national strategic advisor to the UK government on design. The Design For Planet Meetups are a monthly event that happens all year long while our flagship Festival is once a year (the next one is Nov 8-9 2022 in Newcastle).
These informal get togethers focus on design and the climate emergency. We take a broad definition of design and have 3 speakers take 10 minutes each to share their work, lessons learnt, skills and tools. Topics we cover include (but are not limited to):
