✨Eriks Klotins. Eriks is an engineer and researcher affiliated with Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden. He leads industry–academia collaboration projects with some very well-known global companies to improve their software delivery practices.
Talk name: Towards Continuous Everything. In his talk, he will share insights and lessons learned about how organisations adopt continuous engineering, from planning to systematic collection and analysis of user feedback. He will share anecdotes, common pitfalls, solutions, and practical steps for any organisation to improve its software delivery. The talk is targeted at senior engineers, process leaders, and other decision-makers influencing software delivery.

✨Mārtiņš Meļķis. Mārtiņš is a product leader and thinking partner drawn to moments of identity shift — when the old way no longer works, but the new one isn’t clear yet. As a systemic coach, he helps people debug their thinking, regain orientation, and reconnect with what actually matters.
Talk name: Strong, Silent, Lost: What It Means to Be a Man Today?.
For generations, being a man came with a clear script: be strong, provide, don’t complain, keep going. Today, that script is breaking.

I help organizations deliver digital transformation initiatives by aligning business outcomes with modern (cloud) technology. I am also an active member of the Latvian Open Technology Association (LATA), contributing to the advancement of open technologies in Latvia.

About the event
You might be wondering, what's the value of such an event? Why are other existing Business Networking events not enough? - The key difference is that we meet, enjoy dinner, and discuss whatever we like. It's an event for professionals in Tech to exchange ideas and grow. The special guests will tell a little about themselves and do their best to initiate a discussion if awkward silence enters the room. However, "Runāšana – sudrabs, klusēšana – zelts" (translation: "talking - silver, silence - gold"). It's also a good time to think and listen to conversations that you typically would not have at home and work.

Why the event fee? - we always have 2 special guests at the event. They have received a special invitation to join us. We should cover their dinner expenses as the least minimum we can do beyond a "thank you". The event fee is a fund for that.
