Confirmed talks
Matt Ray: Compliance as Code with InSpec
PCI and auditors slowing you down? Compliance and security are the next steps in building your software-defined infrastructure. Chef's open-source project InSpec ( https://inspec.io ) and audit cookbooks provide an accessible pattern for building compliance into your continuous delivery pipelines. This talk will provide an overview of InSpec how you can build "Compliance as Code" into your pipelines.
Pam Rucinque: Lessons Learned from building an API with Lambdas
Why in hell would someone use the new shiny tech thing to build an API when there are already proven patterns on how to do it?
In this talk I will try to justify our decision and talk about the process we went through from just having played with Lambdas at home, to shipping an API that had to back a public-facing phone app.
You don’t have to know about Lambdas (or Serverless, or FaaS, or whatever else they are called), I will address some of that too, along with the pitfalls we fell into, and the learnings from developing and deploying NodeJS to the sky.
Harry Wade: Your CV as a sales tool
An interactive talk which may introduce some ideas on how to improve your CV.
