Rediscover Your Rhythm: Group Guitar Night

Details
📍 Glendale Branch – SLC Public Library

If you’ve been feeling the pull to reconnect with yourself—or just try something different—this beginner-friendly guitar night might be the perfect spark. I’ll be guiding the lesson myself—I’ve been teaching guitar for years and love helping people find joy in music, even if they're just starting out. This group is all about learning at your own pace, with zero pressure and lots of encouragement.
This month, we’ll be learning The Middle by Jimmy Eat World—simple chords, heartfelt melody, and a great choice even if it’s your first time holding a guitar. You’ll leave knowing a full song, with a few laughs and maybe even a few new friends.
This event is co-hosted by the Wandering Bards Meetup, and is part of a new Divorcee Cafe series called The Better Me—a collection of experiences designed to help us explore new interests, build confidence, and find joy in growth. Think less self-help, more self-reconnection.
Bring your acoustic guitar (or an electric with a small amp) and an open mind. We’ll close with a casual jam session, then grab some food nearby to keep the vibe going.
Meeting Spot: Meet in community room A.
- After entering, walk up to the main desk . Community Room A is to the left, down a small hallway that passes the restrooms. Look for a guy with a guitar and a slightly chaotic notebook.

Every 1st Tuesday of the month until December 30, 2026
