Join us as we ice skate along the trails around The Forks - a historic site that transforms into a beautiful winter wonderland this time of year ❄️
Not a fan of skating? No problem! A walking trail runs alongside the skate path, so you can still enjoy the river and explore the new warming huts and winter installations.
After skating, we’ll head inside the Forks Commons to grab food and drinks, relax, and chat for the rest of the evening 🍻

Tips for a comfortable night:
- Dress for the cold: bring your warmest coat, gloves, and snow pants if you have them
- Toe and hand warmers are recommended
- Safety gear is welcome

Skate Rentals & Services:
- Skates are available for rent inside the marketplace
- If you have your own skates, even better! The marketplace also offers skate sharpening to keep your blades in top condition

Meeting Details:
- Location: Second floor of the Forks Market, lounge area next to McNally Robinson bookstore
- We’ll gather there and then head to the skate rental counter together
- Please arrive on time so we can hit the trail as a group. Once on the ice, it may be hard to catch up
- To make them easier to spot - the event host will be wearing a glowing blue armband and a neon green hat
