Details
Parkland Boundary Walk & Shoot Malahide Castle
Walk is approximately 3.5km
1.5 hours at a leisurely pace, stopping to shoot when it takes our fancy.
On our first visit to Malahide Castle we'll take to the boundary and see how far we get. The terrain is easy underfoot and the opportunity to shoot wildlife is rich and varied. A squirrel posed for me when I visited and a fledgling fell out of its nest so lots of drama here. The birdlife is a delight.
- We meet just inside the entrance to the castle beside Bridgefield Car Park and a minute or two across the road from the train station at 1900h sharp. Gates close at 2045h
- We walk & shoot for circa 1.5 hours
- Then, for those of us who choose to do so, we discuss the shoot in Fowler's Bar
- At home we can edit our selected photographs
- Later, for those who choose to do so, we post our best on our own personal Flickr page (free to post upto 30 photographs)
- We comment for fun on Meetup. A positive learning experience for all
- This event is weather permitting to protect our cameras
- One of our group is resident in Scotland and we invite him to participate as fully as possible without being with us and hope that some day he might surprise us!
