Perfect for anyone who wants to energise their morning, beat the traffic, and enjoy a crisp start to the day.

— 23km , relaxed pace, great energy boost for your day.

Here is our plan for the morning:

1️⃣We leave at 7AM from blackrock dart station ( please be early)

2️⃣ a 23km with an optional coffee stop at parlour blackrock village( 15min)

Ride style: Drop ride
Team discipline: Front light, rear light, helmet, NO Earphones, NO wheels overlapping

⛑ PLEASE WEAR A HELMET and bring a tube in case you have a puncture.

We are a group composed of volunteers. We are not a professional organisation. As such, each of us is responsible for our own safety and well-being during an organised event. The organiser(s) is not in any way responsible for any participant on the trip. However, as a group of friends, we make an effort to look out for one another to the best of our ability.

Traffic-free cycling all the way today.
We’ll follow the Grand Canal towpath, including the new section from the 12th Lock to Hazelhatch, giving us a continuous off-road route all the way to Sallins. A relaxed, flat spin beside the water — ideal for all levels.

Here is the plan for the day:
1️⃣ Leaving from the Portabello lock at 930am
2️⃣ A traffic-free green belt brings up through the western suburbs.
3️⃣ We stop for coffee and a chat at Sallins or Lyons cafe
4️⃣ It's then in to Sallins with its many Canal barges, and then back along the Grand Canal to Portabello where we finish up.
5️⃣ we should be back in Portabello by 230pm

🔴 As it could be cold we are going to keep moving and keep stops to a minimum

1. Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture.

Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment.
