Circa 1 - 1.5 hours at a leisurely pace

On our first visit to Malahide Castle we'll simply do the boundary walk. It's an opportunity to immerse ourselves in parkland to the tune of bird song on easy terrain. For those among us who are fascinated by the vast variety of birds that flock to Malahide, we will be spoiled for choice. Other wildlife to be on the look out for are rabbits, squirrels and occasionally foxes.
Please note that there is a concert scheduled for Friday 11 July so be prepared for barriers in place which may interrupt the view at entrance and exit but not the boundary walk!

• We meet just inside the entrance to the castle beside Bridgefield Car Park and a minute or two across the road from the train station at 1900 hours sharp. Gates close at 2045 hours.
• We walk and talk. Some may want to take photographs
• After the walk we retire to Fowler's Bar in the village for some well earned refreshment
