NY Public Library TTRPG Open Tables

Come forth and join us on wonderous adventures! The Dice Goblins of NYC and the NY Public Library present 3 one shots adventures for players of all experience levels to enjoy. Players are not expected to bring anything to play except of willingness to be creative, improvisational and work with others. While attendees can indicate the adventure they wish to play when registering, the choice of adventure will be first come, first serve. The one shots presented this month are:

• Shadowdark
  A foreboding cave, a desolate tomb, villagers in danger, and the promise of treasure for their rescue.In this game, a torch only holds back the pressing darkness for one hour of real-world time. There isn’t a moment to waste when the flames are burning low... Shadowdark is a rules-light and intuitive RPG where you and your companions delve into dungeons in search of gold and glory. It emphasizes speed, danger, and simplicity.
• Sunless Citadel (Dungeons and Dragons)
  The party is assembled to investigate missing adventurers who disappeared while looking for missing livestock. In the process, they find the Sunless Citadel - a sunken tower, hiding a dark secret. Can they find and rescue the adventurers? What lurks in the tower?
• The Will of Orcus (Dungeons and Dragons
  The Deathsbane Tavern in the remote mountain village of Greysmere is a local marvel. Established by an older couple after a life of adventuring, the tavern is decorated with art, food, and music that reflect their heroic deeds. No good deed goes unpunished, however, and after the couple passed away, evil began to take root in the mountains once again. Will you and your party bring heroism to the mountains again, or fall victim to a darker plot altogether?
