July Meetup - Linux and Active Directory

Details
This month we follow an interesting journey to integrate a substantial network of Linux into Microsoft Active Directory and away from NIS.
Abstract: This interactive talk covers a project conducted at Animal Logic Pty Ltd to replace a legacy NIS system with Active Directory for use by the company’s CentOS Linux systems. The project had to be conducted live in a 24x7 facility. We will cover the main technical issues, the implementation chosen and the challenges.
Presenter: Jeremy is Senior Systems Architect/Engineer at Animal Logic, a company you might know for their animated feature films including Happy Feet and Legend of the Guardians. He has extensive experience in engineering and architecture for both systems and software. More detail on LinkedIn (http://au.linkedin.com/pub/jeremy-webber/13/ba0/878).
