Hike Borges Ranch

Hello All my next hike will be to Old Borges Ranch. A Walnut Creek open space. Hike will be about 2 to 2.25 miles and the elevation gain loss will be about 250 feet. It is all open trail not much shade, so wear a hat. You should also bring water, trail snack/lunch. After the hike we can walk around the ranch site a look at the old ranch equipment as it was a actual working ranch until it was deeded to the city of Walnut Creek. To get there take the 680 to Ygnacio Valley Rd. If you are coming south on the 680 get off at North Main and go to Ygnacio Blvd and turn left. Head east to Walnut Ave, (NOT Walnut Blvd), enter the traffic circle and exit it on Castle Rock Rd go until you see a sign for "Borges Ranch" turn right there. It is one lane for both directions so you may need to pull aside for oncoming traffic. Go to the end of the road, it ends at the ranch. Park there. Trail head it there. Hope to see you there. Norman
