What we’re about

Established originally in 2017 with a brief COVID-induced hiatus, East Bay Seniors is back in action!

We're a group of friendly 60 "plus or minus" folks who love a variety of stuff, including games, coffee, restaurants, bowling, book clubs, crafts, concerts, and exploring anything the area has to offer.

Most of us join and attend alone, but you are also welcome to bring your friendly significant other, friend, or family member! This is all about making new connections, and getting yourself out there!

My name is Marcie, and I live in the East Bay so therefore center my hosted events around there, but we are happy to accommodate meetup members from further out if anyone wants to help me host. This is a no-judgment, all-fun zone to socialize, get together and enjoy what amazing things we live near!

Decades-old, weekend destination with merchants of new & used items, from clothing to collectibles. Super fun! Lots of silly and cool, unique finds - best of all - it's cheap!

Today is what you make it. We can explore the vendors indoors and outdoors together and maybe find something cool to take home, maybe not! Hungry? Well, they serve cheap hot dogs, pizza, pretzels and other fair-like snacks. They also have a good indoor bathroom.

$1 for admission for seniors, or $1.50 for youngins' :)

Let's thrift and antique and enjoy this can't-miss-local spot together.

Bocce is an easy Italian bowling game, but I will bring my set and go over the rules before we start.

Bring your lawn chairs, water, snacks and sunscreen if you please! We can play a game or two, then sit, relax, and socialize. If you have your own set, or any other fun lawn games for us, feel free to bring it also. Hope to see you there!

"The little Main Street speakeasy is named after a path that runs alongside Warren’s Methodist Church between Church and Baker streets. Supposedly, townspeople who couldn’t afford a pew seat would gather here to hear the sermons from the church. Hence the name Stingy Alley. Now it’s recreated in the form of a bar from the same owners as the Square Peg and Amy’s Place, with decidedly non-stingy cocktails brimming with housemade cherry-infused bourbon for a Manhattan, and vodka, Cocchi Americano, apricot liqueur, pink grapefruit juice and lemon cordial for the Trick Pony, all served in intricate and vintage-style glassware."

Let's enjoy a drink or so together. I know I will be going virgin, so rest assured you're welcome to come and just enjoy a soda or shirley temple, etc. This place sounds so nice, and it's good to support local. It's happy hour!
