*** NB CHANGE OF ROUTE ***
This moderate walk takes us uphill from East Dean to Friston Church, across fields over Went Hill to Birling Gap, returning to East Dean via the Horseshoe Plantation and Cornish Farm.
There is one steep hill up at the start; the rest is undulating.
Free parking at East Dean and loos at the start/finish and at Birling Gap. We won't stop there for coffee as we can enjoy coffee & snacks at the Hikers Rest after the walk.
Dogs are welcome and I walk with a friendly mutt called Josie. We may encounter sheep.
Please be booted and ready to leave by 1030. If you are unable to attend on the day, please call or text me on 07764 677363 as I can't usually access Meetup at East Dean.
