- Lunchtime HikeNockamixon State Park, Quakertown, PA
Hiking has been shown to have many health benefits, both for physical and mental health. Come spend your lunch hour soaking up those benefits with an easy, two-mile, ranger-led walk along our scenic Paved Bike Trail!
Beginning at the Marina Visitor Center, we will walk one mile out to the Boat Rental, and one mile back. While we will be keeping a somewhat brisk pace, along the way we will chat about some park history and features.
No registration required! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We will be traversing a level section of the paved trail. There will be no roots, rocks, brush, or elevation changes to contend with. Sturdy, closed-toe footwear is, however, still recommended.
In case of inclement weather, check back here for any cancellation notice.
