First Day Almost Full Moon Towpath Trek

Join the state park naturalists for a ~2.5 mile roundtrip stroll along the towpath to downtown Yardley under the light of the almost full Wolf Moon! Celebrate the start of the new year through movement, social connection and an appreciation for nature.
Please dress in layers, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a flashlight/headlamp.

Woodpecker Hike
Tohickon Valley County Park, 165 Cafferty Rd, Bucks County, PA, US***Meeting location: Tohickon Valley County Park, 165 Cafferty Rd., Pipersville, PA 18947***
How do woodpeckers climb up and down trees so well? What is the largest woodpecker species in PA? Join us for a slow paced ~3 mile hike to listen & look for several different woodpecker species and learn about these unique birds. We will be hiking on trails that have roots, rocks and moderate elevation change.
Please bring water, wear sturdy shoes, dress in layers & bring binoculars if you have them. About 10 pairs of loaner binoculars will be available to borrow.
Program will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather or hazardous driving/trail conditions.
