Bundeena to Jibbon Head Circuit (10km) Easy/Medium-Grade 2

On this loop walk we enjoy some grand ocean views, secluded beaches and rock shelves. Starting from Bundeena the walk follows the road to Jibbon Head and Shelley Beach, then a long stretch of sandy management trail through the heath before a side trip to Bundeena Lookout where we have lunch with the famous view of The Balconies (pictured). The walk ends back at Bundeena while we wait at the cafe for the 3:00pm ferry back to Cronulla Station. Option to swim/snorkel. Last ferry back to Cronulla leaves at 6:30pm.

TRANSPORT OPTION: Central Station, Platform 25, 9:22am train, arriving at Cronulla Station at 10:14am. Meet at Cronulla Wharf at 10:20am in line to take the 10:30am ferry to Bundeena Wharf arriving 11:00am. Please note no opal card payment on cronulla ferries, must pay $9.40 (each way) cash or eftpos/credit card.

BRING: 2 litres of water, hydralyte tablets, snacks, lunch, sun protection, first aid kit, rain gear, hiking shoes, ice cooling towel, (Optional: Swimmers/snorkel, towel).

NOTE: If you are feeling unwell or unfit please stay home! Limit of 30 people only for safety so please only RSVP if 100% committed to attend! There is no excuse for not updating your RSVP in a timely manner for those on the waitlist to be able to attend. Accumulative NO-SHOW`S and members who display disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour will be banned from the group. Members who show up for events inadequately packed with essential supplies will not be allowed to attend the event for their own health and safety. Walks are graded according to the difficulty of the terrain and access to exit points. Bushwalking is a skill. Members are responsible for assessing their own fitness and experience level before attending an event. All members are responsible for exercising duty of care for themselves and others.
