What we’re about
Eccentric people are highly intelligent and can be quirky. Do you want to make new friends, enjoy delicious cuisine, laugh, etc.?? If so, this might be the group for you.
To me, being eccentric is more than just being 'different' or 'odd'. It's about being yourself. So, if you like great food and interesting people, give us a spin! We occasionally venture into other areas, yet almost always end up dining together somewhere.
We, most often, seek out unique/exotic restaurants and similar venues that promote enjoyable dining experiences, stimulating conversation and merriment all around!! What's unique or exotic to some may not be such for others, yet in the end, we all end up happy and well-fed! Cheers to dining together all around Central Florida!

See all- Late Lunch w/ 10% Off at Chuan Lu Garden (Peter's Kitchen) off East Colonial Dr.Peter's Kitchen China Bistro, Orlando , FL
PLEASE do not map to Chuan Lu Garden as there's another, currently closed, restaurant on Colonial Drive (Highway 50) that's NOT this restaurant. You can map to Peter's Kitchen or to:
3922 East Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803Okay, now that we got that out of the way...If you love Asian food, this is the place to order and enjoy it. AND, if you love (or desire to try) Dim Sum), there's likely no better alternative as Chuan Lu Garden does it right as rain! Plus, there're offering meetup members 10% off during this event!
Wait, Dim Sum?? YES! Think "small plates" of Asian dumplings and other items where variety is king, and deliciousness is immeasurable! They have a full, non-Dim Sum menu you can order from as well. Or, like me, you can order off them both!!
One of our long-standing meetup members suggested this restaurant, so I went and tried it and thought, "oh yea, we're coming here!"
For those interested, they offer vegan items too.
Their website and menu tell a very tasty story: Chuan Lu GardenLooking forward to enjoying a mid-afternoon, memorable meal with you,

If you attended our event at An Vi Vietnamese Kitchen back in October, I'm pretty sure, like me, you're eager to return.
They're located toward the right side of the shopping center and in-between a nail salon and a gymnasium (aka fitness center). That shopping center is at the corner of SR-436, Red Bug Lake Road, and South Winter Park Drive.
The links above lead to their fantastic menu. Click "Online Order" and simply browse. No need to order ahead, yet I suppose ya' can...
Be sure to bring your appetite, and perhaps a friend or family member, (most attend solo and that's great too) and join us for an evening of tasty Asian cuisine with friends/foodies. Expect some great conversation and laughs as well.
